A member of the Hinamizawa after-school games club and a firm believer in Oyashiro-sama, Rena is an orange haired anime girl from the series “Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni”. Rena attends the same grade as Keiichi, but she is a few months younger than him. Her birthday falls in July, and since nearly all of the arcs take place before July 1983, Rena has not yet turned 14. The deuteragonist of Spice and Wolf, Holo is a nonhuman, a wolf spirit or deity that lives in the wheat. Originally from Yoitsu, Holo traveled south eventually arriving at Pasloe where she settled down as the village's wheat goddess. In her human form, Holo appears as a 15-year-old girl with long light orange brown hair and a fringe, and amber eyes, although she still retains her wolf ears and tail, that match her hair.
